In short: when you contact Labuan Bajo Seaplane by WhatsApp or email to request a quote, we collect only what’s needed to arrange your flight with a licensed operator — your name, contact details, travel dates and flight numbers — and we don’t sell it, spam it, or keep it longer than the booking and legal record-keeping require. This page explains what happens to that information, in plain language, under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law 27/2022) and with awareness of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors browsing from Europe or elsewhere. Last updated: September 2026.
Who operates this site
Labuanbajoseaplane.com is published and maintained by Juara Holding Group, an independent coordination desk established in 2015. Juara Holding Group is not a seaplane operator, an airline, or a licensed aviation business — we arrange scenic flights, resort water-landing transfers, and Komodo Airport connections with licensed operators and resorts on a client’s behalf. Where this policy says “we,” “us,” or “the desk,” it refers to Juara Holding Group acting in that coordination role, not to any named operator or resort.
What information we collect
We collect data in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your browser sends automatically.
Information you provide. When you message us on WhatsApp (+62 811-3941-4563) or email bd@juaraholding.com to ask about a scenic flight, a resort water-landing transfer, or a Komodo Airport connection, we typically receive:
| Data type | Example | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| Name | “Sarah Thompson” | To address your quote and booking correctly |
| Contact details | WhatsApp number, email address | To send pricing and confirm arrangements |
| Travel dates | “12-16 October 2026” | To check operator and seat availability |
| Flight numbers / arrival details | Inbound flight from DPS/CGK/SUB | To coordinate airport pickup or transfer timing |
| Group size and preferences | “4 adults, private charter preferred” | To match you with the right operator and aircraft |
| Resort or vessel name | “AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach” | To coordinate a water-landing arrival, where the resort and operator approve it |
We do not ask for passport numbers, payment card details, or ID documents through this site. If a licensed operator later needs identity documents for manifest or immigration purposes, that exchange happens directly with the operator, under its own procedures — never routed through or stored by this website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools log standard technical data when you browse: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site. We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site running securely — not to identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies for two purposes: keeping the site functional (for example, remembering that you dismissed a notice) and basic traffic analytics (page views, approximate location by country/city, device type) so we understand which routes and resorts people research most. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing data to ad networks. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered between visits.
Why we use your data (purpose and legal basis)
Under UU PDP, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis, which in practice means one or more of the following:
- Performing your request — arranging a quote, checking availability with a licensed operator, and coordinating your flight or transfer (contractual necessity).
- Legitimate interest — keeping basic booking records for accuracy, follow-up, and dispute resolution.
- Consent — where you opt in to receive updates about seasonal flight windows or promotional information; you can withdraw this at any time by replying “stop” on WhatsApp or emailing us.
- Legal obligation — retaining records where Indonesian law requires it, for example for tax or consumer-protection purposes.
We do not use your data for automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making that produces legal effects on you.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as far as needed to fulfil your request:
- The licensed seaplane operator and, where relevant, the resort or vessel you are trying to reach, so they can quote, confirm sea-state and landing approval, and prepare your flight.
- Payment processors, only if and when you proceed to pay an operator directly — we do not store card numbers.
- Service providers who support our own operations, such as our website host and communication tools, under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing. We do not share your data with any named resort or operator as an implied endorsement or partnership beyond the specific request you asked us to coordinate.
International transfers
Because seaplane operators, resorts, and hosting infrastructure may sit outside Indonesia, your data can be transferred across borders in the course of arranging your trip. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to work only with parties that handle data responsibly, consistent with UU PDP’s cross-border transfer principles and, for EU-based visitors, with GDPR expectations around adequate protection.
How long we keep it
We retain quote and booking correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to complete your trip, handle any follow-up questions, and satisfy record-keeping obligations under Indonesian law — typically no longer than a few years after your travel dates, unless a legal dispute requires longer retention. Data collected only for site analytics is retained in aggregate form and is not tied to your name or contact details.
Your rights
Under UU PDP, and consistent with GDPR principles for visitors from the EU/EEA, you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate details (for example, a misspelled name or wrong flight number).
- Delete your data, once any active booking or legal retention requirement has concluded.
- Withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time.
- Ask how your data was shared with an operator or resort in connection with your request.
To exercise any of these, email bd@juaraholding.com or message WhatsApp +62 811-3941-4563 with your name and the approximate date you contacted us. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and will confirm once a request has been actioned.
Booking terms and liability — read honestly
Juara Holding Group coordinates requests with licensed operators; we are not the operator, not an airline, and not a licensed financial, legal, or tax adviser. Flight schedules, landing approvals, pricing, luggage allowances, and cabin capacity are confirmed in writing by the licensed operator at the time of quote, subject to change, and never guaranteed by this website in advance. A water landing beside a resort or vessel depends on the operator’s sea-state assessment, resort or vessel approval, and, inside protected waters, park authority clearance — it is never promised as certain. Any figures referenced elsewhere on this site are dated and subject to change; always confirm final terms directly with the operator handling your flight.
Children’s data
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian initiating the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as our practices, Indonesian data-protection regulation, or our services change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version; material changes will be reflected here rather than communicated individually.
