These terms govern every seaplane transfer, scenic flight or resort water-landing arranged through labuanbajoseaplane.com. Juara Holding Group operates as an independent coordination desk, not an aircraft operator: your carriage contract is with the licensed operator who flies you, quotes are indicative until confirmed in writing, and weather or sea-state cancellations follow that operator’s own policy. Read before booking.
Who Are You Actually Contracting With?
Juara Holding Group, established 2015, runs labuanbajoseaplane.com as an independent coordination desk for Labuan Bajo gateway logistics — Komodo Airport (LBJ) connections, resort water-landing transfers, harbour and phinisi rendezvous, and scenic flights over the Flores Sea. Juara Holding Group does not own, operate or crew any aircraft. Every flight is performed by a licensed third-party seaplane operator holding the relevant Indonesian aviation certificates.
This distinction matters legally: the contract of carriage — the document that actually governs your flight, your baggage and any incident in the air — is between you and the operator, not between you and Juara Holding Group. We arrange, coordinate and confirm on your behalf; we do not fly the aircraft.
| Role | Who holds it |
|---|---|
| Arranging, quoting, scheduling coordination | Juara Holding Group (independent desk) |
| Contract of carriage, flight safety, crew | Licensed seaplane operator |
| Airport ground handling at Komodo Airport (LBJ) | Airport authority / ground handler |
| Park entry and protected-water landing approval | Komodo National Park authority, where applicable |
How Do Quotes and Bookings Actually Work?
Every price you receive from us — by WhatsApp, email or on this site — is indicative until the licensed operator confirms it in writing. Seaplane pricing is structured, not fixed: shared sectors are typically priced per seat, private charter is priced per flight, and both move with sector minutes, the landing point requested, and season. High-season windows (July–August, and the Christmas–New Year period) and last-minute requests commonly carry a premium. We do not publish fare tables on this site because fares change by date, aircraft and operator; your written quote is the only figure that governs your booking.
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Initial quote (WhatsApp/email) | Indicative estimate only, not a booking |
| Written confirmation from operator | Price, date, time and route are locked |
| Deposit or full payment received | Booking status becomes confirmed |
| Operator’s pre-flight weather call | Final go/no-go, made on the day |
Typical single-engine floatplane cabins used on Labuan Bajo routes seat small groups — commonly up to around eight passengers — with per-person luggage limits commonly cited in the 15–20 kg range. Treat both figures as indicative only; confirm exact seating and baggage allowance on your written quote, since they vary by aircraft type and operator.
What Happens if Weather or Sea State Cancels the Flight?
Labuan Bajo runs a dry season roughly from April/May to October/November and a wet season roughly from November/December to March. Dry-season mornings generally bring calmer seas and better visibility in the Flores Sea and Sape Strait; wet-season months bring stronger wind, higher waves and a greater chance of delay. Floatplane operations run in daylight only, and every schedule — including yours — is subject to the operator’s own weather and sea-state call, made closer to departure.
If the operator cancels or postpones for weather or sea state, their published cancellation and rebooking policy applies, not a policy set by Juara Holding Group. We will relay the operator’s options — rebooking, credit or refund per their terms — as soon as we receive them. A calm-water landing beside a resort or vessel also depends on the operator’s on-the-day approval and, inside Komodo National Park’s protected waters, park authority clearance; no landing location is ever guaranteed at the time of quote.
What Documents and Permits Are You Responsible For?
You are responsible for arriving with valid travel documents, any visa required for your nationality, and any Komodo National Park entry permit needed for your itinerary. Indonesia’s entry rules changed materially through 2026: a 2025 ministerial decree reorganised visa classifications, now in force; centralized e-visa processing, mandatory pre-arrival registration through the national app, and biometrics-linked one-person-one-visa compliance apply as of 2026. Immigration Regulation 10/2026, effective July 2026, expanded visa-free entry to Turkey, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Peru, Macau and Belarus alongside ASEAN and other previously listed countries, and revoked the prior 2025 list.
These rules are dated and subject to further change without notice from us. We are not a licensed immigration, legal or tax adviser, and nothing on this page is legal advice — confirm your specific visa and permit requirements with Indonesia’s official immigration channels or your embassy before you book.
What Are the Limits on Liability?
Because Juara Holding Group coordinates rather than operates the flight, our liability is limited to the coordination service itself — accurate relay of your booking details, timely communication with the operator, and good-faith handling of your quote. We are not liable for flight delays, cancellations, in-flight incidents, baggage loss, or medical events, which fall under the operator’s own liability framework and insurance as the carrying party. Where a service on your itinerary — a resort transfer, a phinisi rendezvous, ground transport from Komodo Airport — is arranged via a vetted licensed partner rather than owned by us, that partner’s own terms and liability limits apply to that segment.
We do not guarantee flight availability, specific landing points, specific arrival times, or any outcome tied to weather. We make no claim of awards, ratings or credentials beyond what we can verify in writing, and we do not publish guest reviews we cannot substantiate.
How Do We Handle Your Data?
We collect the personal data needed to arrange your flight — name, contact details, travel dates, passport information where an operator or park permit requires it. As of 2026, this processing follows Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law 27/2022), which requires a lawful basis for processing, limits data use to the stated purpose, and gives you rights to access and correction. If you are contacting us from the European Union, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with its own data protection regime, we handle your data with GDPR-equivalent care — data is shared only with the operator or partner needed to fulfil your booking, never sold, and retained only as long as your itinerary or applicable record-keeping rules require.
Which Law Governs These Terms?
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from a booking arranged through labuanbajoseaplane.com is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts, without prejudice to any separate arbitration or dispute clause stated in your specific operator’s contract of carriage.
Can These Terms Change?
Yes. We update this page as regulations, operator policies or our own practices change; the version live on this URL at the time of your booking applies, and we date-stamp material updates. These terms are current as of September 2026 and are subject to change.
